Positive figures in February 2004

February figures show progress all along the line. All categories of traffic taken together increased by 10 % in February. This year February had 29 days – without this extra day, the increase would have been approximately 6 %.

The international scheduled services continue their progress, this month by 14.9 %.

Better load factors but also SUN-AIR/British Airways’  new route to Düsseldorf and Maersk Air’s new services to Kristiansand, Oslo and Milan have had a positive impact on the figures.

Domestic traffic has increased by 4.4 %.

Charter has increased by 6.1 %..

The general interest in charter holidays seems to be growing. The coming summer season looks promising with several new operators and many new destinations and more seats offered by practically all travel agencies.

Cargo Center Billund has had a remarkably positive start of the year. Since the beginning of the year the amount of transported cargo has increased by 14.5 %.
