Billund Airport progress continues in May

May figures show progress in all areas.

The total number of passengers has gone up by 11.8 % to 154,000 passengers against 138,000 in May 2003.

International schedules services show a progress of 15 %, corresponding to almost 10,000 passengers more than in the same month last year.
Domestic traffic has gone up by 25.4 %. There were 3,000 domestic passengers more than in May last year.
Charter has gone up by 5.8 %. This is a progress of 3,300 passengers.
Cargo figures show a considerable increase of 28 %. The increase is in particular due to the fact that a growing amount of textiles, produced in the East, pass through Billund Airport.

We are pleased that activities are going up in all parts of the airport and look forward to a busy summer.
