Driving Permit and Vehicle Pass

Vehicles must be approved, and the driver must complete a theoretical and practical Driving Course before being allowed access with a vehicle into Billund Airport’s restricted area (Airside).

Driving Permit
In order to drive a vehicle into Billund Airport's restricted area, each employee must first pass an online Driving Course Awareness, and afterwards complete a practical Driving Course with Billund Airport’s Marshalls.

  1. The ID-Card responsible manager must fill out a Driving Permit application form on behalf of the employee in question. The application form can be downloaded right here.
  2. The ID-Card responsible manager must then submit the completed Driving Permit application form to the HR Department at Billund Airport by e-mail at: [email protected]
  3. Once the ID-Card responsible manager has received a confirmation e-mail from the HR Department at Billund Airport, the practical Driving Course with the Marshalls can be booked by e-mail at: [email protected]

Vehicle Pass

To gain access to Billund Airport’s restricted area (Airside), a vehicle shall display a valid Vehicle Pass.

The Vehicle Pass shall be specific to the vehicle and must therefore display a registration number, the areas for which it is authorized to have access to, and the expiry date of the Vehicle Pass.

  1. The ID-Card responsible manager must fill out a Vehicle Pass application form on behalf of the employee in question. The application form can be downloaded right here.
  2. The ID-Card responsible manager must then submit the completed Vehicle Pass application form to Checkpoint Nord by e-mail to: [email protected]

Note

A Vehicle Pass is valid for 5 years.

A temporary Vehicle Pass can be issued if you are accompanied by a vehicle with an already valid Vehicle Pass.

The Vehicle Pass must be collected physically at Checkpoint Nord (located at: Nordvej 1, DK-7190 Billund). It must be collected either by the ID-Card responsible manager, or by the employee in question (the driver of the vehicle in question).
