Apply for an ID-Card for Billund Airport

Once your company has been registered at Billund Airport, the ID-Card responsible manager can begin to apply for ID-Cards on behalf of themself and the company’s employees.

  1. The ID-Card responsible manger must fill out the ID-Card application form in collaboration with the employee in question. The application form can be downloaded right here.
  2. The ID-Card application form must be signed physically by both the ID-Card responsible manager and the employee in question.

The ID-Card responsible manager must sign at the bottom left side of the application form. The employee in question must sign on the right side of the application form below the ‘Statement of Consent’.

  1. The completed and signed ID-Card application form and Extended Background Check must be submitted together to the HR Department at Billund Airport by e-mail at: [email protected]

Note
An ID-Card application is valid for 4 months from the date it is received in our inbox. After 4 months, the application will be permanently deleted, and a new application will be required. In addition, all courses must be completed again.

Online Security Awareness Course (and other possible courses)
When the HR Department at Billund Airport has received both the ID-Card application form and the Extended Background Check, the ID-Card responsible manager will then receive a confirmation e-mail with information about the online Security Awareness Course (and other possible courses). The ID-Card responsible manager must then share this information with the employee in question.

An ID-Card application will only be processed once both the ID-Card application form and the Extended Background Check have been submitted together in a single e-mail.

Extended Background Check at the Authorization Office at the Administrative Centre of the Danish Police
Before an ID-Card for Billund Airport can be issued, an Extended Background Check must be obtained from the Authorization Office at the Administrative Centre of the Danish Police on behalf of the employee in question. This must be done for each employee applying for an ID-Card for Billund Airport.
